Steve Crowe
A longtime Central Arkansas whiskey-community leader and nearly 22-year locomotive engineer, Steve co-founded ABH to bring enthusiasts together through friendship, creativity, and a member-first statewide community.
Raised in Benton, Steve spent about seven years in Little Rock before settling in Bryant with his wife, Erin. They have a son. He has worked as a locomotive engineer for nearly 22 years and has been part of Central Arkansas’s bourbon community for the better part of a decade.
Before bourbon became the focus, Steve was primarily a Scotch enthusiast—and he still has a genuine love for it. His experience helping lead several groups within the local whiskey community provided the relationships, perspective, and foundation to help create Arkansas Barrel Heads.
Outside of whiskey and the railroad, Steve enjoys aviation, coin collecting, and spending time with his family. As a founder of ABH, he is proud to help build a statewide community centered on good bourbon, lasting friendships, and bringing people together.
