Todd Smith
A longtime railroad locomotive engineer, former small business owner, and creator of Walkabouts with Toddy, Todd helps keep members connected through store visits, inventory finds, and a genuine passion for the bourbon community.
Raised in Pine Bluff, Todd graduated from Watson Chapel High School. He began his career with a Japanese-owned tubing manufacturer in Pine Bluff, an opportunity that eventually took him abroad for a year working in Hong Kong. After returning to Arkansas, he married and purchased J&R Grocery in Humphrey, where he gained firsthand experience running a small business.
A few years later, Todd hired on with the railroad, sold the store, and went on to become a locomotive engineer. He’s worked on trains for almost three decades. He and his wife have two children.
Todd’s whiskey journey began to take shape around 2021, when his “Walkabouts with Toddy” content—highlighting store visits, inventory finds, and community connections—caught the attention of the ABH team. From Louisville and Bardstown to Lynchburg, ABH has already taken Todd on some unforgettable adventures, and he looks forward to many more with the greatest bourbon community in Arkansas.
